WildStar Housing Guide

WildStar's housing system is one of the best features the game has to offer. It allows players to own their very own piece of sky property that is inside its own instance and build a house that's completely customizable as well as a myriad of features known as "plugs" that can serve as an individualized (or group) playground, combat preparation station or just a place to socialize.

To first get started with player housing, all you need to do is approach any of the housing NPCs that will explain everything you need to know to get started. These NPCs show up at the major cities/quest hubs within the first non-tutorial zone. After speaking to the NPC you'll be able to pick up your sky plot for a minimal gold fee. You'll also be able to travel there.

After you get sent to your housing plot in the sky, you're tasked with a series of quests that serves as a brief introduction to WildStar's housing system. You're asked to clear the land of any nasty creatures. This requires a bit of combat and help you some leveling. There's even a simple minis-boss fight you'll have to prove victorious over.

Once the land is clear you're then able to pick which style of house to build. You'll start small at first. As you gain levels you'll be able to unlock various blueprints for more expansive housing styles and additional features as well as learn new blueprints that drop off enemies and are offered as quest rewards.

The full interiors of houses as well as the exterior plugs can be fully customized based on which blueprints you have access to. Everything from the flooring design to the wallpaper, type of windows, doors, rugs, wall hangings and individual pieces of furniture can be customized. There are hundreds of cool items in the game to add to your house.

Plugs connect to the outside of your house and take up a certain amount of space. They act as additional features guide in wildstar online. You can tailor the types of plugs your property has to what type of house you are trying to build. If you want a pure social or RP setting, for example, you may choose to build areas where friends can socialize and relax. If you're looking to maximize your future career as a raider, you may wish to add combat buff stations and transporters that you can use to quickly get to raid locations. Crafters can add farms and mining nodes to enhance their productivity.
